Thoughtful tools. A personal purpose.

Found & Noted creates space for reflection, self-compassion, and meaningful growth—for children and the people who support them.

Hi, I’m Katherine Spray.

I’m an educator, youth coach, and the creator behind Found & Noted. My ten years of teaching experience span classroom teaching, special education, and physical education. Working with children in different settings has shaped my commitment to meeting learners where they are and helping them recognise their strengths.

My own journey with self-worth also led me to explore what it means to live with more resilience, self-compassion, and joy. Those questions continue to inform the journals and resources I create.

Experience that informs the work

My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Maine, specialist qualifications in reading and special education, and a Certificate in Positive Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.

I have also completed 200-hour yoga teacher training and children’s yoga and mindfulness teacher training. Through teaching and youth coaching, I’m interested in practical ways to help children build positive relationships, use their strengths, and approach challenges with self-compassion.

Small starting points for everyday life

Found & Noted brings these interests together through journals, downloadable resources, workshops, and conversations. My hope is to offer families, educators, and coaches useful starting points for helping young people grow.
